Short description
The DA³S project aims to develop a process for the automated detection and safe removal of asbestos-containing spacers in reinforced concrete structures. At GIK, the focus is on developing a multi-sensor system for the automatic detection and localization of these spacers. Different sensing technologies, as well as methods for automated data analysis and object detection, are investigated and combined. The goal is to reliably determine the position of the spacers on the wall and thereby enable their targeted and safe removal.
