Head of the KIT Department “Natural and Built Environment” visiting the Geodetic Institute
The Board of the KIT Department “Natural and Built Environment” around Prof. Johannes Orphal introduced themselves at the Geodetic Institute and informed themselves about the activities of the three professorships Geodetic Sensor Systems (Prof. Corinna Harmening), Geoinformatics (Prof. Martin Breunig) and Geodetic Earth System Science (Prof. Hansjörg Kutterer). The poster presentations showed the entire diversity of the Geodetic Institute in research and teaching. The visit was rounded off by the robot demo with “Rita”, a prime example of precision measurements using mobile sensor systems in geodesy. The members of the Geodetic Institute would like to thank again for the visit and the open atmosphere.
